Come along with me.
Thank you for joining me in my new environment.
I started this blog in March 2020 when everything became so weird in the world, walking the Luce line Trail every day to find something new and hopeful. There were always signs of life and growth, evidence of the changing season and the expectancy of something wonderful just around the bend.
For more than 4 years the seasons unwrapped themselves just as they should — evolving colors, textures, fragrances and sounds. So dependable. So reassuring. And you came with me and we shared it. Thank you.
Now I find myself in brand new territory. I have moved away from my beloved trail — a little farther south, a little farther west — and have landed at the edge of a small town beside a tranquil lake in what feels like a wildlife sanctuary.
I’m traveling this week, so my observations come to you from Hungary, one of my favorite parts of the world. I hope you will join me as I explore the colors, textures, fragrances and sounds in this faraway place. May you find peaceful, calming moments — and the joy that comes with noticing beauty everywhere in creation.
